21 year old artist H.E.R. is our MTV PUSH this month.

I realized that I needed to be super honest, and that's how the music came out the way it did. I was forced to be honest and comfortable with myself and my vulnerabilities.” said "H.E.R. about her debut self-titled project in 2016 and she has kept this honesty and vulnerability throughout her career releasing two further EP’s in 2018 to critical acclaim.

I Used To Know Her – The Interlude and I Used To Know Her – Part 2 combine emotions, classic R&B sounds and H.E.R.’s signature vocals to create pieces of work that stand out against her musical counterparts. Bursting onto the scene 3 years ago with an anonymous identity, she captured her audience’s attention with the raw vulnerability on her tracks and not her anonymity only left her fans craving more.

Fast forward to 2019 and now we know H.E.R as Gabi Wilson, a former child prodigy who chose to be represented by her music, which has now lead her to perform at the BET Experience, Jimmy Kimmel Live! And The Late Late Show With James Corden.

Alongside earning her a number of accolades, such as Number 1 on the Billboard R&B album chart with ’I Used To Know Her – The Prelude’ and declaring, “The musical sensation is changing how we hear – and feel – music with her talent, vision and mystique,” and H.E.R. has proven them right by earning five 2019 Grammy Awards nominations – Album of the Year (H.E.R.), Best New Artist, Best R&B Album (H.E.R.), Best R&B Song (“Focus”) and Best R&B Performance (“Best Part” featuring Daniel Caesar).

Fresh off her North American ‘I Used To Know Her’ tour, she will be supporting Childish Gambino on the European leg of his ‘This Is America’ tour in March.

H.E.R.’s official debut album is set for a 2019 release and we’re excited to support her as our February PUSH artist and can’t wait to hear what she has coming next!
