Here's How To Watch The Global Citizen Festival

Beyoncé, Jay Z, Ed Sheeran, and more will perform at the 2018 Global Citizen Festival, honouring the legacy of Nelson Mandela.

The Global Citizen Festival takes place Sunday December 2nd and you can watch the entire show live on MTV!

Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, in honor of Nelson Mandela who would have turned 100 this year.

Beyoncé & Jay-Z will be taking the stage, and the rest of the headlining performances are equally exciting: Ed Sheeran, Pharrell Williams, Chris Martin, Usher, and more are set to perform.

Trevor Noah – comedian, political commentator, actor, and host of The Daily Show – has been announced as the host for this year’s festival.

But wait, it gets even better! Special guests Naomi Campbell, Tyler Perry, Forest Whitaker and Dave Chappelle will be attending, as well as award-winning South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha. Oprah Winfrey will deliver a special keynote address remembering Nelson Mandela and his legacy.

The Global Citizen Festival’s mission is to end extreme poverty. Tickets are free. To earn entry to the festival, fans can contribute to charity acts on the website, including watching videos and signing petitions.
