Beyonce Knowles' best advice for Rita Ora was to ''be yourself.''
The 'R.I.P' singer - who is signed on to Beyonce's husband, Jay-Z's, record label Roc Nation - admits she was shocked to receive advice from the 'Love on Top' hitmaker and has since acted on what she had to say.
She explained: ''It's a compliment to be compared to Rihanna. But you do have to hold your own. If you know yourself then everything else will follow - that's what Beyonce told me.
''She was always one of my idols, so to have her in my face was amazing.''
The 21-year-old star also revealed her plans for her own fashion line, as she takes style ''seriously''.
She told Marie Claire magazine: ''I take fashion seriously. My tour outfit has been planned for months.
''I'm a big fan of Kim West, Balmain and JW Anderson. Right now it's about the music, but one day, I'll have a fashion line.''
